FAQs

How much will it cost to recondition my engine?

The price will vary depending on the extent of the work that is required. In order for us to give you a realistic quote, we will need to find out the following information about your vehicle: Make and Model, Year, Petrol or Diesel, auto or manual, Engine number (e.g. Mitsubishi 4G63 DOHC), vehicle mileage and any issues or problems you are encountering. To obtain a quote or to speak with one of the team about your engine needs, please call us on 09 818 5352 or email info@ger.co.nz

How long will it take to recondition my engine?

This will vary depending on the extent of the work that is required. For a standard 4 cylinder engine this will usually take between 3 to 5 working days depending on our workload. (This can be advised at the time of enquiry.) It is important to us, to get you back on the road as soon as possible, so if you have a specific timeframe in mind, please ensure you let us know.

Can GER carry out the removal and refitting of the engine in my vehicle?

Yes we can. We have a fully equipped workshop and the expertise to carry out this process for you if required.

Do you have a warranty period or guarantee?

Yes we do. The standard warranty on a fully reconditioned engine is 12 months or 20,000kms (whichever comes first).
