Lifter Bore Machining & Sleeving

If the lifter bores within your engine have become worn or suffered damaged due to a failure, there are two different ways we can address the problem.

Firstly, using our CNC Machining Centre, we can machine the lifter bores to suit a larger diameter lifter.

Secondly, the lifter bores can be machined to accommodate a bronze sleeve, so that the original lifters can be reused. Depending on the level of damage, or the intended application of the engine, we will assess and recommend the best course of action.

For performance applications and most V8’s we have blueprint machining technology so that we can correct any factory misalignment issues as well carry out bronze sleeving to gain greater valve train stability.
