Valve Re-Facing

As part of our cylinder head reconditioning process, we assess the condition of the existing valves. If they can be reused, we reface the sealing face of the valve where it contacts the valve seat. This ensures the face is perfectly round or concentric, as well as being the correct angle required to give the best possible seal when in its seated position.

For performance applications we can also add a “backcut” angle below the seating face of the valves for greater airflow around the valve area.
