Electronic Valve Spring Testing

As part of our cylinder head reconditioning process, we assess the condition of the existing valves springs, to ensure the spring pressures are still within the manufacturers specifications.

With our specialist testing machine, we can test valve springs to any height, and obtain both seated & open pressures at any given valve lift. For performance applications, when installing new valve springs, we test and document the pressures as fitted, so for any future “freshen ups”, we can compare previous pressures and assess whether the valve springs need replacing.
